Gilberdyke War Memorial Hall
A Community Resource
Charity Number 525023
The War Memorial Hall in Gilberdyke was opened in January 1924, and today is a bustling centre of activity for the village.
It provides facilities for a wide range of community interests, including sports, education, general interest, physical fitness, and social groups.
It is ideal for community events, having a large Main Hall with its own dance floor, stage, sound system, and full-service bar.
There's also an adjacent Conference Room, a modern kitchen, playing field, kids play area - and free parking.
Whereas some village halls are directly managed by their local Parish Council, the Memorial Hall is a registered charity, managed by a small group of volunteer trustees, independently of the Gilberdyke Parish Council.
All of its income comes from user groups, hall rentals, events hosted by the Hall, public donations, and occasional grants.
Feel free to use this web site to explore how the Hall serves the local community, as it has been doing for over 90 years.
